Payments can be made immediately or you can schedule them for a future date. You can also make payments in different currencies, accept and send funds directly to your clients for quick settlement.
You have the option to use payment networks including BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments, SEPA and SWIFT.
SEPA AND SEPA INSTANT (EU)
SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) was introduced for credit transfers in 2008 and fully implemented in the euro area in 2014. It facilitates payments in euros through credit transfers and direct debit to EU countries, as well as to a number of non-EU countries. There is no limit to the amount of the transaction and all payments are processed in the same way as local payments, thereby limiting your organization's international reach.
BACS, CHAPS & FAST PAYMENTS (UK)
BACS was formed in 1968 and was originally called the Interbank Computer Bureau. Very little has changed in its guiding principles and functions over the past 50+ years, and it is commonly used to pay wages and salaries by businesses in the UK. BACS is only available in GBP and BACS payments take up to three business days.
CHAPS (Clearing House Automated Payment System) was established in 1984 and was originally called the Bank Clearing House, and changed to its current name the following year. CHAPS is only available in Pounds Sterling, but payments can be made the same day and there is no limit on the amount of the transaction.
Faster Payments UK is suitable for almost immediate settlement of transactions up to £ 250,000. It is only available in Pounds Sterling, but it has a guaranteed delivery time of two hours (although payments are usually made within 15 seconds).
